3.1 The Researcher Part 1

The Researcher: From Insights to Actions

Task 1: Uploaded Document Comparison #1

I will create a new chat and add the following report with information on the Express and Nord VPN services: - VPN Services: Features

We can get our assistant to compare information in documents to uncover insights. I start by uploading the document to the chat.

The instruction message isn’t necessary

User message:

Please can you compare the two products in the attached short research report. Please can you explain the relative advantages of each service with respect to the other. Do you see any gaps in one’s offering vis-a-vis the other?

Task 2: Your Task

Start a new chat and upload this document: Duo Lingo product reviews.

I want you to get insights from this report to improve the product. I would suggest doing this in two phases, first identifying areas of interest in the report - for examples the top positive and negative points in the reviews and then using those to create a plan of action.

Tips and suggestions:

  • You can give your research assistant here a new personality if you want it to have a specific type of approach, or you could leave it blank.

  • You could get more specific with the types of issues (e.g. engagement issues) or other things (e.g. reviews below 3.0) to focus your analysis and suggestions.

  • You can ask you assistant to, for example, prioritise the top 3 three points, and give reasons for its prioritisation. Asking it to be logical like this can help improve results.

  • Asking your assistant to think through this in two steps like a human would - first do step 1 and then do step 2 - can lead to better results.

  • You can ask your research assistant further questions based on its initial analysis.

Please can you share your action plan to the Miro board under “The Researcher Part 1”.
